My name is Anne-Lee and I paint contemporary, intuitive art in acrylic - often layered with texture and emotion. My paintings arise in the moment and often carry movement, stillness or an inner story. I work in both large and small formats and enjoy exploring the unexpected in color and form.
I create intuitive paintings with acrylic - colorful stories of presence, warmth and stillness. My motifs emerge from feeling rather than sketch, and each work carries traces of both strength and vulnerability.
I create my paintings to evoke emotions and bring energy to your home. Whether you are a long-time follower or new here, you are an important part of my art journey.
As a child I often dreamed of places I had never visited - vast landscapes, horizons, cities that breathed freedom and that something was waiting for me far away that I could not understand. In retrospect, I believe these dreams carried a longing for my Father, a closeness that did not exist but that lived strongly within me. That longing became a compass, an inner space where my images took shape.
About my art
I work primarily with atmospheric landscapes and cityscapes where light, structure and tones are at the center. Through layers of acrylic and palette knife, a tactile surface is created where stillness and movement meet.
The works move on the border between the recognizable and the dreamlike and are found in private collections around Sweden and also internationally.
All of my acrylic paintings are handmade with care and unique details, making each piece completely personal.
All original works are painted with high quality acrylic paint on stretched canvas. I also offer a selection of limited edition Fine Art Prints (giclée prints), printed on museum quality acid-free paper.
